You Can Make Me by R.L. Merrill is a breathtaking conclusion to her trilogy within the expansive Carnival of Mysteries shared world. From the very first page, I was completely absorbed in the story of Cooper Harris, an investigative journalist whose life was shattered after a brutal encounter with a serial killer. The narrative is a heart-wrenching "rollercoaster" told through the perspectives of Cooper and his protector, Denny, moving between Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and a serene lakeside cottage. Merrill’s worldbuilding is vivid yet purposeful, transporting the reader into a story that explores the deep scars left by trauma—both physical and emotional.

Have a Bear-y Little Christmas by Roxie Ray is a deeply moving paranormal romance that offers far more than a typical holiday story. Narrated brilliantly by Leah Daniels and Gabriel Castro, the narrative follows Remington LeBeau, a grizzly bear shifter and widowed father of two, and Jeannie Wolfe, a single mother whose young son, Max, is in remission from cancer. Spanning two years, the story explores the complex emotional landscapes of two parents who are doing their best to navigate difficult circumstances while prioritizing their children’s happiness.

V.E. Huntley’s Redemption is the breathtaking conclusion to The BloodStone Legacy trilogy, and it is every bit the wonderful finale I hoped for. Having followed Aden and Ellie’s journey from the very first page, I have been rooting for their happily-ever-after since the beginning. To see their story finally reach its end was a beautiful, emotional experience that left my heart pounding.
