This is the third installment of this series. I have said previously it is like X-Men meets Bridgeton. To read my other reviews you can go HERE or HERE.

Book Description

He's harboring a fiery secret....

The Duke of Ashcroft is determined to keep the League of Lords under wraps. After all, the group's supernatural gifts brought the mystical misfits together and nobody is going to tear them apart. Intelligent and wily, Sebastian knows better than to trust anyone--especially an impulsive and intrusive American woman.

She's looking for answers...

Competitive and confident, Delaney Temple is hellbent on uncovering the truth about the League. She'll stop at nothing to unearth the secrets they're burying. But when Sebastian is in trouble and Delaney comes to his rescue, their contempt turns to a burning desire. Suddenly, with their passion ignited, they can no longer deny their attraction.

A wicked duke. A troublesome beauty. And the forbidden desire they can't deny.

About Tracey Summer

The USA Today bestselling author's storytelling career began when she picked up a historical romance on a college beach trip, and she fondly blames LaVyrle Spencer for her obsession with the genre. She’s a recipient of the National Reader’s Choice, HOLT Medallion, Golden Leaf and MAGGIE among others. She lived in New York, Paris and Taipei before returning to her fav city on the planet: NYC.

When not writing sizzling love stories about feisty heroines and their temperamental-but-entirely-lovable heroes, Tracy enjoys reading, snowboarding, college football (Go Tigers!), yoga, and travel. She loves to hear from romance readers!

My Thoughts

In this third installment of League of Lords, we get to know The Duke of Ashcroft in depth.

Sebastian like his brothers of the League welds a gift. The gift of fire. Prone to start a blaze by simply thinking or getting emotionally charged. For this reason, he has chosen to block off his heart and emotions. But with a title like Duke, he knows he has to marry and produce an heir so why not marry someone suitable and who is part of the League he has sworn to protect. Sebastian doesn't count on his coming face-to-face with Delaney Temple. A woman who not only ignites his heart but his passion. Things are going to get hot figurately and literally.

Delaney Temple is a woman set on finding the truth about the League. She needs to to save herself and her brother known as the Terrible Two. But then Ashcroft falls ill in front of her and she soon learns that the people she is trying to expose are the people she wants to protect the most. She also learns that her gift may be the key to helping others like them.

This third book kept up with this exciting series. I loved getting to know The Duke. Though he seems a hard man, he is sincere, With a gift for first and one for playing the violin. I really enjoy getting to know him. He was way more than what we first saw in the early books. Plus Delaney is a true spite fire. She is such a joy to get to know as well with her gift for retaining information.

These two together were so good. I love how they helped each other, and that they were very competitive in everything. I also liked that Delaney didn't shrink in front of Ashcroft she held her own. Tracey did a great job building the chemistry between these two.

Such a wonderful read and one I can see myself returning repeatedly.
