About Sophia Travers
Sophia Travers has been reading romance novels for as long as she can remember (sorry, Mom, for stealing all those books and hiding them under the bed). Ever since she discovered that writing romance is just as addicting as reading it, she's been populating fictional worlds with smitten heroes and ambitious heroines. She loves enemies to lovers, second chances, heroines who know what they want, and lots and lots of angst.

My Thoughts
The Rebel Seeks a Wife by Sophia Travers is a thoroughly addictive, emotionally rich friends-to-lovers romance that captures the very best of slow-burn tension, sharp banter, and deep trust.
The story centers on Tristan Prince, a charming, wealthy, and highly sought-after eligible bachelor, and Katie Bailey, his skilled bodyguard and loyal best friend of three years who has secretly harbored forbidden feelings for him while trying to cope with the pain of feeling like an overlooked left-over.
Determined to tame her feelings since Tristan is ostensibly destined for someone else, Katie decides to start dating, prompting Tristan to step in and offer her dating lessons. What begins as practice quickly throws gas on an already ignited fire, leading to intense yearning, reckless electricity, and a complicated professional dynamic as they try to fight their growing attraction.
The narrative shines through its wonderfully contrasting and relatable characters. Katie is a total badass in her field yet endearingly insecure and unused to praise, while Tristan acts as a golden retriever who effortlessly charms everyone around him.
Alongside fantastic secondary relationships—such as Katie slowly becoming part of Tristan's warm sibling dynamic—the book explores the vulnerable fear of not being chosen and the difficulty of opening up to someone when you are terrified of losing the friendship you already share.
Enhanced by a wonderful sense of depth when read as part of the series, the entire experience is brought brilliantly to life by the stellar emotional delivery of narrators Stella Hunter and Grayson Owens, making it an absolute must-read for fans of high-tension, heartfelt romance.
