About Brynne Weaver
Writing has always been a hobby for Brynne. Even as a young child, she loved typing out stories on her grandmother’s typewriter. She wrote award-winning poetry and essays, and dabbled in various forms of fiction over the years. In 2019, Brynne committed to publishing more of her works, and released her first non-fiction book (under her real name!). She then began focusing on her first fantasy-romance (or ‘romantasy’) series, The Diviner. Next up was the three-part Shadow Realm paranormal dark romance series. Brynne then partnered with author Alexa Harlowe on the contemporary dark standalone romance, Black Sheep.
Brynne aspires to write female-focused stories about complex, resilient, imperfect characters who struggle with anger, trauma, fear, courage, and love.

Harvest Season by Brynne Weaver is a devilishly unhinged, darkly hilarious, and utterly gripping sophomore installment in the Seasons of Carnage trilogy. Bringing Cape Carnage vividly to life through top-tier audio performances, narrators Robert Hatchet and Samantha Brentmoor deliver undeniable chemistry, perfectly capturing the razor-sharp wit, escalating tension, and deliciously unsettling atmosphere of the story.
The narrative dives right back into the blooming chaos of Cape Carnage, where Nolan Rhodes finds himself buried in secrets, pesky true-crime sleuths, search-and-rescue operations for the already dead, and the ever-watchful presence of Sheriff Yates. Meanwhile, Harper Starling must navigate the wreckage of her unearthed past while managing an unpredictable serial killer mentor, Arthur, and a heart that is dangerously falling for the very man who came to town to kill her.
What makes Brynne Weaver’s writing so magnetic is her refusal to sacrifice character development for shock value. Even amidst the murder birds, emotional moments with Arthur, and Damian's infuriating POV chapters, she takes the time to build real, messy, deeply vulnerable people you can't help but root for. The relationship progression between Harper and Nolan is masterfully done, filled with forced proximity, coffee, notes, fierce protection, and a magnificent dance scene that highlights just how hopelessly down bad Nolan is.
