The story is the third installment in the Sherwood Witches series, following Effie Sherwood—the chaotic, wildcard eldest daughter of a powerful magical family who views herself as an unlikely heir—and Darius Aetos, a grumpy, gruff, and irresistibly handsome werewolf alpha. Chaos erupts when Effie attempts to stop Darius from making off with a coveted magic spellbook by making the split-second decision to jump onto the back of his speeding motorcycle.
What follows is a rollicking adventure filled with tricky pack politics, high-stakes quests, a race for dominance, and a nefarious magical council.
