My Thoughts
I was incredibly excited to dive into Triple Protection by Christina Sterling, and the narration by Andi Eloise and Brandon Francis truly brought a remarkable depth and emotion to these characters. I absolutely ate this book up, devouring it in pretty much one sitting because the story was just that delicious and steamy. Sometimes partners in a "why choose" romance can feel a bit too similar, but I loved how distinct and quirky each of these men were. Brandon and Andi did an amazing job capturing their unique personalities, making the entire listening experience feel vibrant and real.
The plot centers on Angela, an influencer who discovers she has a dangerous stalker and turns to Cerberus Security for help. She is assigned three insanely hot bodyguards—Liam, the flirty hacker; Alex, the brooding soldier; and Brick, the silent giant—who move into her house to keep her safe. The "touch her and die" energy was off the charts, and I loved how protective they became. The book even gave me Criminal Minds vibes at times, especially during the chilling chapters told from the perspective of the stalker, who is convinced he is Angela's soulmate.
While I managed to guess the identity of the stalker fairly early on, the storyline was so well-written that it didn't take anything away from my enjoyment. The character building was beautiful, and while I adored the whole team, Brick definitely stole my heart. There is a perfect balance here of suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat and lighthearted banter that had me crying with laughter at one point. It was a true rollercoaster of emotions where I found myself laughing one minute and feeling the heat of the spice the next.
This is a sizzling reverse harem romance that delivers everything it promises, from the late-night confessions to the high-stakes danger. The chemistry between Angela and her three protectors was pure fire, and the spice was undeniably hot. I have absolutely no complaints and found it to be a perfectly executed story with a satisfying happily ever after. I truly enjoyed this read and cannot wait to see what else Christina Sterling has in store for us.
