Narrated beautifully by Avery Reid and Taylor Young, Julia Wolf's To the Chase is easily one of the most delightful and unforgettable reads of the year, bringing the Mile High Billionaires series to a perfect, bittersweet conclusion. Wolf excels at writing neurodivergent characters, and Salvatore Gallo is a testament to this skill. With his shy brilliance and unique, beautiful love language, Sal is truly top-tier; I will accept zero criticism on this thoughtful, loving, and utterly captivating man.
Book Description
All that tends to leave an impression.
So when he shows up two years after ghosting me, acting like we’ve never met, I’m more thrown than I care to admit.
Salvatore Gallo is shy, brilliant, and only speaks when he means it. He’s the CEO of a billion-dollar cyber security company, but he blushes when I tease him and watches me like I’m a code he can’t quite crack.
He’s still the same man who made my heart flutter with a single, intense stare.
And now he’s asking for a second chance.
I should say no. I want to. But this time he’s not hiding how much he wants me and I’m as drawn to him as ever.
The problem? He is hiding other things. Like the three kids who’ve become his entire world. Choices he’s made. And a life I’m not sure I’m ready to be part of.
But Salvatore Gallo is patient. Persistent. Devastating in the way he shows up for me, again and again.
He’s chasing me, and I don’t know how much longer I can keep pretending I don’t want him to catch me.
About Julia Wolf
Julia Wolf writes sexy rockers, grumpy billionaires, snarky heroines, and bad ass women. She’s a firm believer in happily ever afters, no matter how rocky the road is to get there.
She doesn’t believe in “guilty pleasures”, only pleasure. Reading about a plus size woman who gets absolutely railed by a hot rock star is pleasure. Reading about a damaged college student whose flaws are valued and loved by the grumpy guy next door is pleasure. Reading about love in a small town or big city or on a tour bus is pleasure. Reading romance is pleasure!
Julia lives in Maryland with her husband and three crazy, beautiful children. When she’s not writing romance, she’s reading it. Some of her favorite things are, in no particular order: goats, books, coffee, and Target.

My Thoughts
Narrated beautifully by Avery Reid and Taylor Young, Julia Wolf's To the Chase is easily one of the most delightful and unforgettable reads of the year, bringing the Mile High Billionaires series to a perfect, bittersweet conclusion. Wolf excels at writing neurodivergent characters, and Salvatore Gallo is a testament to this skill. With his shy brilliance and unique, beautiful love language, Sal is truly top-tier; I will accept zero criticism on this thoughtful, loving, and utterly captivating man.
The chemistry between Salvatore ("Sal") and Bea is explosive and utterly charming. Bea is a hilarious, relatable, and fiercely independent character who takes no nonsense, while Sal is the brilliant CEO of a billion-dollar cybersecurity company who blushes when teased. When he reappears two years after ghosting her, claiming not to remember her—a situation Bea, who is confident, outspoken, and unforgettable, finds baffling—the stage is set for a second-chance romance brimming with angst and humor. Bea is exceptional in the way she recognizes and enhances Sal's differences, and he, in turn, cares for her in the most devoted and persistent way.
The core conflict arises when Salvatore asks for a second chance, no longer hiding his intense desire for her, but concealing the three children who have become his entire world. Despite this complication, Salvatore is patient, persistent, and devastatingly devoted, constantly showing up for Bea. The "chase scene" is a specific highlight—equal parts hot and fun—but the real joy is in watching their emotional connection deepen. The children add immense heart and humor, and the way everyone—Sal, Bea, and the great Gallo family side characters—bonds and fits together is truly lovely.
The entire book is elevated by the beautiful, expert narration from Avery Reid and Taylor Young, who bring the characters' voices and emotions vibrantly to life.
To the Chase is Julia Wolf at her very best—an unlikely couple that creates fireworks, delivering a must-read combination of romance, depth, and humor that will leave an indelible mark. While the previous heroes were wonderful, Salvatore and Bea’s story is a triumphant finale to a series I adore. I’m sad to see the Mile High Billionaires go, but this finale is absolute perfection.
Other books I've read by Julia Wolf HERE!!!

Great that an author is writing about heroes / heroines who aren’t mills and boon perfect but are in fact more relatable and realistic for the reader.
