The premise is irresistible: to save her beloved bookstore from closing, Georgia makes a deal with the devil—Fletcher’s wealthy, power-hungry father. Her task is to teach her arrogant and spoiled stepson, Fletcher St. James, a much-needed lesson in responsibility. Georgia thinks humbling him will be a piece of cake, but she couldn't be more wrong.
What she doesn’t expect is for the tension to boil over into an undeniable attraction. The power play between them ignites a forbidden passion, and soon they are tangled in the sheets, giving in to their illicit desires with no regard for the consequences. What begins as a fiery battle of wills evolves into something surprisingly tender, as Georgia discovers the beautiful vulnerability beneath Fletcher's exterior, and his touch becomes the safe space that unlocks a softer side of herself.
The narration by Muffy Newton and Sebastian York is fantastic; they do such a great job bringing this story and its incredible chemistry to life. I highly recommend picking this one up, especially on audio. It’s a steamy, addictive, and surprisingly heartfelt romance!
