My Thoughts

This is book 4 of the Byrne Brothers series. In it, we meet Oran a man betrayed by his wife, and Lina a woman on a mission to discover the truth.

Oran has been betrayed by his wife. He uses that information to go after the man who thought he could come after his family. He intends to destroy Wellington and take everything he has including his woman Lina. But as Oran plots Wellington's destruction he begins to see a different side of Lina. Can he trust her? Oran is not sure he can but he knows he is falling for her. Will Oran make the same mistake with Lina as he did with his wife or is Lina more than he sees?

Lina is on a mission to discover the truth. She will do anything to find it even pretend to date Wellington. She needs to be on the inside of Olympus Club to find answers. She never dreamed her plans would be interrupted by Oran but he has completely derailed her plans. He thinks he can own her and use her but she is more than pretty she has her own secrets ones she intends to keep. But the longer she is around Oran the more she wants his help and the more she falls for him. Can she trust him to help or is he like every other person she knows only out for himself?

This book was good. I enjoyed watching the power struggle between Oran and Lina. they were both tough and distrustful having both been betrayed by people. Getting to see them learn to love and trust was so heartfelt. Not to mention how much Oran does for Lina. It was such a good book. I thoroughly enjoyed every page.
