My Thoughts

This is book 5 of the Byrne Brothers series, the latest in the series, and it is about my girl, Shae Byrne.

Shae Byrne is one tough girl. She has spent her life fighting to be one of the boys. She is determined to show people she is just as good as any one of the men in her family. When she is sent to collect a shipment from Renzo things change. She is kidnapped and left in the cold mountains of Canada. Now she must rely on help from Renzo something she isn't used to. As time goes on she begins to not only rely on him but fall in love with him. Can Shae leave behind all she has fought for or will she leave behind the one man who can truly love her for herself?

Renzo is the head of his family and works hard to keep the family business running smoothly. When he encounters Shae, things shift. When they are kidnapped and left in the mountain, Renzo's only concern is protecting Shae, but she won't let him. He knows she can handle herself, but he is attracted to her. She is Chaos. Can he show Shae he doesn't want to change her, just love her, or are they doomed by family rules to forever be apart?

This was a wonderful story. We have seen Shae throughout all the books but never really got to know her deeply. This story gave us more of her and allowed us to see how has grown up and survived in an all-male world. I loved that she was a tough girl but as time went by you got to see her volunbearable side. What made Renzo the perfect man for her is he didn't want to change her but rather be an actual supporter of who she is. I thought the author did a wonderful job showing how Shae learned to let go and love while keeping her strength.

This was the perfect ending to this series.
