My Thoughts

This is book 3 of the Byrne Brothers series. In it, we meet the grumpy but gorgeous Torin and the beautiful, sunny Stormy.

Torin is a bit grumpy. He prefers it that way so people don't get close. He doesn't trust people in his experience people lie and betray so being alone is like protection for his heart until Stormy blows into his life. She is beautiful with a sunny personality. She makes him want things he shouldn't but most of all she makes him want her but trust doesn't come easy. When Torin discovers Stormy secret can he forgive her and have deep lastly love like others or will he leave her and protect his heart?

Stormy doesn't stay in one place for long she can't. If she even thinks about life beyond a few months the danger that hunts her could find her and untimely kill her. But Stormy wants more out of her life she wants friends, and stability and she wants her grumpy boss. Stormy is not sure she can trust him. He seems obsessed with her and she knows how that can turn out. However, when Stormy finds herself in trouble Torin is the one who rescues her. Can she trust Torin> Is it safe to give him her heart and trust him with her life? Stormy wants to but does she have the courage to do so?

This story tore at my heart. The things Stormy and Torin endured broke my heart. I was rooting for them so much because I knew they understood each other and were good for each other. I loved how Stormy's sunny personality made Torin smile and how he slowly let her in.

I adore these two and want to see them happy together. The author did an amazing job writing their backstory and getting to the heart of their hurt. Torin and Stormy are two of my favorite people in this series.
