My Thoughts
Miles by C.S. Silverne and Tilly Ridge is a captivating, fast-paced contemporary romance that sweeps readers right into the heart of rural life, featuring horses, barn maintenance, training cowboys, and the quiet dedication of a widowed father whose routine seems entirely set in stone. That is, until Kayla and Collin enter his world as his newest employees. The catch? They happen to be a couple, and they are living right under his roof.
What should have been a straightforward working arrangement shifts entirely after one night fueled by too much whiskey and forbidden desires. Left with foggy memories and a brand-new tattoo, our protagonist is left questioning his entire existence and wrestling with the guilt of finally moving on. The true complication, however, is that his own employees are the ones who completely rocked his world, leaving him wanting them more than anything.
Delivering an addictive plot that is both a quick read and a wonderful listen, this collaborative duo once again captivates with their engaging storytelling style. The entire experience is brought brilliantly to life by the stellar duet narration of Ash Beverly and Audrey Obeyn, whose vibrant performances add immense depth and leave you completely wanting more from start to finish.
