Book Description
Two strangers. One night. Temptation has consequences...
Five years ago, I left my European vacation with more than just memories. One unforgettable fling...one lifetime consequence.
Now I'm broke and desperate, juggling two lives to survive. By day, I’m a desk worker at Hayes & Hayward Media, but by night, I serve gentlemen at the seductive club, Eden.
I thought I’d left my past behind. But when Eden unexpectedly throws me back into the path of the man from my vacation, my world flips upside down. James Hayes doesn’t even remember me. Worse? He’s arrogant, mega-rich, and... my new boss.
He's determined to make my life hell and fire me. But with my son depending on me, losing this job isn't an option. I’ll do whatever it takes to endure this... even if it means resisting the very man who’s reigniting every desire I’ve worked so hard to bury.
Staying away from James should be easy, right? If only I could ignore the seductive world he’s pulling me into.

My Thoughts
Tempted by Eden by Jade May—brought to life through the next-level narration of Sofia Lette and Aaron Shedlock—is an absolutely phenomenal audiobook that had me hooked from the very first chapter. As my introduction to Jade May’s writing, this incredible story completely blew me away with its perfect blend of intense workplace drama, seductive club dynamics, and raw, heartfelt emotion. The storyline is flawlessly put together, delivering top-notch chemistry, sizzling sexual tension, and a healthy dose of angst that kept me so completely captivated I managed to finish the entire listen in a single day.
The plot follows Cora, a single mother who is broke, desperate, and juggling two lives to survive and support her young son. By day, she works a desk job at Hayes & Hayward Media, and by night, she serves gentlemen at the seductive, kinky club known as Eden. Five years prior, a passionate European vacation fling left her with a lifetime consequence, but she never expected her past to collide with her present. Her world flips completely upside down when she crosses paths with that very same man, James Hayes. Not only does the mega-rich, arrogant James fail to recognize her, but he also happens to be her new boss—and he is determined to make her life hell and fire her.
This captivating enemies-to-lovers setup effortlessly pulls you into their orbit, but the real kicker is the writing's ability to tug at your heartstrings. It evokes a massive wave of empathy, particularly during the deeply emotional moments where you can truly connect with Cora's struggles as a mother. While the BDSM and D/s club elements add a thrilling, spicy layer to the romance without overwhelming the plot, it is the storytelling that grounds the book.
Just when you think you have a handle on the narrative, the book delivers a shocking, gut-wrenching plot twist around the 65% mark. While some subtle clues are dropped during family conversations along the way, the final reveal is so incredibly intense and full of emotion that it catches you completely off guard and leaves you teary-eyed. Despite dealing with heavy themes like a parent facing cancer and a stressful custody battle, the author masterfully navigates the angst to deliver a beautiful, satisfying happily-ever-after with no cliffhangers. It is an absolute must-add to your TBR list, and I cannot wait to dive back into the seductive world of the Eden series.
