Book Description
Rule #1 on the Everly Fletcher Matchmaking Manifesto…Never fall for your best friend’s grumpy brother.
Everly is the matchmaking mastermind of her family, but her own love life is a bit of a flop.
Back from four years in Dublin, she’s ready for a quiet summer on Fletcher Mountain helping launch her aunt’s animal rescue center—until Conri “Wolf” Reilly shows up.
Wolf is her college roommate’s infuriating twin brother. He’s brooding, Irish, and college rugby’s resident bad boy with thighs that could crack a watermelon.
His red card reputation has trashed his rugby prospects…until a training camp in Denver comes calling. As a favor, Everly reluctantly gets Wolf a place to stay if he volunteers at the rescue center.
Now Everly’s finds herself working and living next door to the Irish tattooed grump who treats her like a nuisance—but looks at her like he could press her up against a hay bale until they forget their own names.
Wolf swore he came to America to fix his image, not fall for his sister’s best friend, but the more time he spends with Everly, the harder it is to keep his distance.
Perhaps Everly’s in her bad boy era…or maybe Fletcher Mountain might has its own matchmaking plans.

My Thoughts
Oh my word, I was so incredibly excited to dive into Bad Boy Era by the rom-com queen herself, Amy Daws! I have been waiting for Everly’s story since the very beginning of this series, and she is hands down one of the coolest, most charming, and tenacious characters ever written. As the resident matchmaking mastermind who successfully found love for her dad and all her uncles on Fletcher Mountain, it felt like the ultimate full-circle moment to finally see her get her own happily ever after. This is the fourth and final installment of the Mountain Men Matchmaker series, and while it can absolutely be read as a standalone, it is the most perfect, everything-I-wanted-and-more finale to wrap up this beloved world.
After spending the last four years studying abroad at college in Dublin, Ireland—where she naturally continued her matchmaking hobby for her classmates—Everly returns home to Colorado for a quiet summer helping launch her aunt’s animal rescue center. The twist? Her own love life has been a total flop, and Rule #1 of the Everly Fletcher Matchmaking Manifesto is strictly never fall for your best friend’s grumpy brother. Enter Conri “Wolf” Reilly, her college roommate Cliona’s infuriating, broody twin brother. He is a tattooed Irish rugby star with a serious bad boy reputation that has trashed his sports prospects. When he gets into trouble, his sister begs Everly for a favor: let Wolf stay on the mountain and volunteer at the rescue center to clean up his image while he waits for a training camp in Denver. Everly agrees, thinking, what's the worst that could happen?
What follows is an absolute giggly, kick-your-feet, pure feel-good time! Everly and Wolf are complete opposites, but their chemistry is off the charts and the yearning is absolutely delicious. Once they finally stop fighting their feelings, the story gets seriously hot. Wolf treats her like a total nuisance at first, but the way he looks at her could make a girl forget her own name. Beneath that rough exterior, he is utterly fiercely protective of Everly, and watching this big, grumpy Irish bad boy become a great "dragon daddy" to their rescue bearded dragon completely melted my heart. It was also incredibly cute and funny how he interacted with Everly's cousin, Stevie, just completely accepting it every single time she called him “Nana.”
To make a brilliant book even better, the audiobook narration for this performance is pure magic and the epitome of talent. Erin Mallon is spectacular, capturing Everly’s bright, matchmaking energy perfectly. And oh my god, Connor Crais as Wolf with that Irish accent was absolutely everything! Add in the phenomenal Emma Wilder and Teddy Hamilton, and you have an audio experience that is next-level amazing. I have loved every single book Amy Daws has written, and this ravenously anticipated finale did not disappoint. It is a beautiful, funny, and heartwarming conclusion to a fantastic series that will leave you with a massive smile on your face.
