Kayley Loring and Connor Crais have huddled up to deliver a highly entertaining sports rom-com that proves they are the ultimate dynamic duo. Their writing voices and styles mesh perfectly, creating a wild, exhilarating ride full of hilarious banter, sizzling chemistry, and heartfelt depth.

Over the past year, Loring has easily cemented her place as one of my favorite rom-com writers, crafting stories that keep readers laughing nonstop with characters who are consistently swoony, sexy, and full of charm. Crais, already an established, popular narrator with a deep, luscious voice, proves he has serious writing talent, seamlessly blending his style with Loring's to create a story that flows flawlessly.

The plot follows Hannah Strong, a smart, determined finance nerd with an MBA who can quote spreadsheets in her sleep. She has just inherited a professional football team, the Boston Tomcats, from her estranged and deceased father. Having always played second string to her dad’s career, Hannah has spent her life hating football and knowing absolutely nothing about the sport.

Her introduction to the team gets off to a rocky start when she mistakes the star quarterback for the equipment guy, and he mistakes her for a secretary.
