I don’t even know where to begin with Only For Love, but I do know that Natasha Madison has delivered an emotionally devastating, heart-stealing hockey romance that left me breathless. The narration by Teddy Hamilton and Stephanie Rose is next-level perfection.

About Natasha Madison
When Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestselling author Natasha Madison's nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four-inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...

My Thoughts
I don’t even know where to begin with Only For Love, but I do know that Natasha Madison has delivered an emotionally devastating, heart-stealing hockey romance that left me breathless. The narration by Teddy Hamilton and Stephanie Rose is next-level perfection.
As a longtime fan of this series, I am very familiar with the Petrov family, yet nothing could have prepared me for the gut-wrenching journey Lexi Petrov endures. For a decade, Lexi has been trapped in a marriage defined by cruelty and toxic control, living under the cloud of a surgeon husband who convinced her she was nothing without him.
My heart broke for her as she navigated this nightmare, and I found myself in tears during the powerful moment she finally reaches out to her father, the legendary Viktor Petrov. The reunion between Lexi and her siblings, Matthew and Zara, is absolutely shattering in the best way possible.
While Lexi has always been present on the edges of previous books—seemingly settled and fine—this story pulls back the curtain to reveal a woman who had become numb to her own life. It takes a chance encounter with hockey player Kirby Masterson to start bringing out the strength she needs to save herself.
Kirby is easily one of my favorite male main characters; he is patient, gentle, and smart, acting as the ultimate cheerleader while Lexi rediscovers her worth. Kirby’s own background adds so much depth to his character. Having lost his father young and watched his mother marry a man similar to Lexi’s ex, he recognizes the fear in her eyes immediately.
Even though their connection is instant, he respects her boundaries until a single note and a fateful gala change the course of their lives forever. Their journey is a beautifully raw friends-to-lovers story that focuses on healing just as much as it does on their sizzling chemistry.
The narration by Teddy Hamilton and Stephanie Rose is next-level perfection. Teddy Hamilton breathes life into the characters with a blend of emotion and depth that makes every moment feel incredibly real. This isn't just a romance; it’s a story about escaping the darkness and daring to dream again.
Natasha Madison truly sits at the top of the hockey romance genre. Only For Love is a powerful testament to her ability to write stories that are as pulse-pounding as they are heart-rendering. It is an addictive, captive read that I simply couldn’t put down, and it has left me desperate to see where this series goes next.
