Book Description
They’re hunting me.
But it doesn’t mean I won’t bite.
When I was sold into slavery, I made sure I wasn’t worth bedding. I bit. I fought. I made such a snarl of things, they drugged me to try and calm me down.
They would have eventually won, had I not been rescued.
Silly me, thinking that was the end of it.
Of course I would crash land on an island.
And now I’m being hunted on this exiled sector of brutal vampires.
They’re after my body and my blood.
Magnus is one of them.
I should be terrified of the gorgeous male who has taken me to his lair. Yet, when the blood has washed off and the moon turns red from his dark deeds, I realize he’s not like the others.
He’s darkly beautiful.
He’s patient in his form of hunting me.
He’s powerful in the way he says he’ll claim me.
But he’s waiting for something.
I’m not entirely sure what.
Because I’m not like the females he knows.
There’s no way I can go into heat and take his knot like he wants.
There’s no way I can take his seed.
… Right?
Author’s Note: Outcast Island is a standalone novel in the Exiled Sector series featuring strong AOB themes, nesting, growling, purring, breeding, and of course—knotting.

My Thoughts
Jennifer Thorn’s Outcast Island is a fantastic and thrilling contribution to the Exiled Sector multi-author series, brought to vivid life by the talented narration of Alyssa Avery and Ash Beverly. This audiobook is a fast-paced, dark, and steamy experience that grabs you from the first moment and doesn’t let go. For those looking to dive into the world of vampire omegaverse, this is an absolutely perfect place to start.
The story centers on Guđrún, a woman who has known nothing but fighting for her life. After being sold into slavery, she made herself a problem—biting, fighting, and snarling until she was rescued, only to crash-land on an island inhabited by brutal, exiled vampires. She is hunted, a prize to be won, until she is claimed by the island's most powerful predator, Magnus. She should be terrified of the gorgeous male who takes her to his lair, but soon realizes he is not like the others.
What makes this story so compelling is the dynamic between its leads. Magnus is the quintessential uber-alpha vampire with rage issues, yet he’s surprisingly patient and protective, a swoon-worthy "teddy bear" exclusively for his omega. Guđrún is a refreshingly feisty and resilient heroine whose nature as an empath gives her an underestimated strength. Thorn skillfully weaves a unique vampire mythology into the narrative, creating a rich world for these characters to inhabit. Their relationship develops with a refreshing lack of angst; he stalks her with predatory patience, and she accepts him, allowing them to become a formidable team.
While the story contains brutal, violent moments, they feel earned and satisfying within the dark context. Alyssa Avery and Ash Beverly masterfully capture both the raw power and tender intimacy of the story, making the listening experience completely immersive. Fast-paced and sinfully addictive, Outcast Island will leave you hooked and wanting more.
