My Thoughts
I loved this first book in the series. We are introduced to another Montgomery man but unlike his previous ancestors, Adam Montogermy has scars from his childhood. His parents have disappeared, and he was found wandering the woods with no memory. Haunted by his past Adam wants to discover what really happened to him and his parents so he hires Darci.
Darci has lived a life of neglect but it hasn't made her jaded. With a heart full of love and intention that are pure Darci wants to help Adam but is she prepared for the evil she must face. Darci has powers that even she is unaware of so when she is hired to help Adam she discovers that there is more to her past and her powers than even she knew.
this story had a lot of twists and turns. Just when I thought I knew something it would change. I loved the growing relationship between Darci and Adam,. I also loved that Darci was full of mischief and jot while Adam was more reserved. Together they made a great pair. They brought out things in each other that were wonderful.
Their love story was unique and I enjoyed every moment of it and I enjoyed reading this book. Jude once again wowed me with her writing.
