Hello, my wonderful book family. I hope you are all doing wonderful his week. I have been busy with real life and so haven't had a chance to read as much. My new job and my other website have been keeping things busy here with the holidays coming quick. With that said I did manage to fit in a short book recently. Warning this book falls into the erotica category so if that's not your thing this book may not be for you but feel free to read my review.

Let me start this review by saying this is just a short glimpse into an overall bigger story. When I purchased this book off Amazon I thought I was getting a complete book with more to follow in a series. That is not the case. This book is like the first few chapters of a bigger book. If you want to read the entire book you have to buy each set of chapters individually to complete the whole story. This was not made clear by the description on Amazon so that was very disappointing to start with. I don't like books that leave you hanging right as the story gets started.
With that said these first few chapters were very steamy.
I loved that our heroine is strong and can hold her own against our rather dominant hero. I was very taken in when the story turned and Miss Primrose found herself the submissive instead of the dominant. the story is very graphic in some parts and will get your imagination going.
Not completely historically accurate but that can be forgiven when the steamy sex starts.
My biggest disappointment was it is not a complete story so we don't get a lot of backstory on Miss Primrose. We know she is living her current life because of her sister but we don't get the full story. We also don't get to really see the full relationship between Spencer and his brother Nicholas or their cousin. I would have liked more backstory to really understand why Spencer needed revenge. From what I got so far in the story they weren't very close.
Overall very hot and steamy erotica from what little there was of it. Would have liked to have the whole story without having to buy each section individually or at least been aware that this was only the first few cha[ters. Either way, these few chapters are very well written and steamy. The storyline is a good one and the characters are very strong and the chemistry is hot.
A very good read but just be aware you need to buy the complete series to read the entire book.
