Book Description
Jude Kensington is the playboy of Pembroke Hills Country Club and the last person I expected to be living with this summer.
A baby. His baby.
With no clue how to care for an infant and me in search of a place to live, we strike a deal: I’ll help him survive fatherhood, and he’ll give me a place to stay. Temporary. Convenient. Totally platonic.
Except nothing about this arrangement feels simple. Not when I’m rocking his daughter to sleep. Not when I catch him watching me like I’m something he can’t have. And definitely not when I remember exactly how it felt to kiss him.
Falling for Jude was never part of the deal. But the longer we play house, the harder it is to pretend I don’t want to be more than friends…

My Thoughts
More Than Friends by Kat Singleton, with phenomenal duet audio narration by Megan Wicks and Jason Clarke, is an absolute standout, easy five-star romance that delivers all the rom-com energy, slow-building tension, and delicious steam readers crave.
The story follows Jude Kensington—the charming billionaire playboy and resident flirt of Pembroke Hills Country Club—and Charlotte, who has firmly kept Jude in the friend zone for years. Their playful dynamic is complicated when a tipsy, lingering near-kiss leaves them reeling, only for reality to crash in the very next morning when a former hookup drops a baby girl on Jude's doorstep and walks away. Completely out of his depth as a newly single dad, Jude accepts help from Charlotte, who is in search of a place to live for the summer. They strike up a temporary, platonic arrangement: she helps him navigate the terrifying world of infant care, and he gives her a roof over her head.
Of course, playing house with a gorgeous billionaire who rocks grey sweatpants and glasses while stepping effortlessly into "daddy mode" is easier said than done. As Jude restructures his entire life to make baby Ava fit perfectly, the lines between friends and something more begin to blur. Watching Jude transform from carefree flirt into a dedicated, vulnerable father who starts referring to Charlotte and Ava as "his girls" is melt-worthy. The slow-burn tension builds exquisitely as they fight their undeniable attraction, terrified of ruining their friendship, until they finally cross that line in a scene that is unforgettable.
Megan Wicks and Jason Clarke elevate the entire experience in the audio adaptation, with Jason bringing his signature deep, growly voice to Jude and Megan providing an absolute delight of a performance as Charlotte. Packed with witty banter, tender emotional depth, high-stakes romance, and a cozy, found-family domesticity, More Than Friends is a deeply satisfying, heartwarming journey that proves to be the best installment in the series yet.
