Not Home Alone by Kayley Loring, narrated in dual style by Victoria Connolly and Max Meyers, is a sweet, steamy, and wonderfully festive enemies-to-lovers rom-com that checks every holiday box.
The story follows eternal optimist Merrily Tucker, who is thrilled to spend the holidays in her dream rental—a gorgeous house that looks like the Home Alone property. The only problem? Due to a clerical snafu, she arrives to find the house stripped of Christmas decorations, blasting heavy metal, and already occupied by Grant Moody. Grant is the town's brooding, irritatingly handsome grump who once humiliated Merrily in front of a full audience during a high school production, and he is determined to spend his Christmas break entirely alone.
Instead, both are too stubborn to leave, leading to a hilarious cohabitation arrangement filled with battling music choices, heaving Christmas trees, and plenty of tinsel. When small-town shenanigans naturally push them into a fake-dating scenario, they are forced to confront their messy past, long-buried feelings, and a sizzling chemistry that neither can ignore.
Victoria Connolly and Max Meyers deliver an absolute standout audio performance.
