Book Description
She's the one night stand I never forgot.
And now her dad is about to marry my mom.
Until the moment I walk into my stepdad’s house and meet his daughter.
I should say: I meet her again. Madeline and I have already met. It was one night, two years ago. A quick, casual hookup that had no right to be as mind-blowing as it was. I haven’t stopped thinking about it–or her–ever since.
But our parents are getting married, so under no circumstances should we sleep together again.
Or… again. Or one more time after that, just to get it out of our systems.
Madeline’s funny, fiery, and so gorgeous with her pink hair and nerdy tattoos that I can barely look at her without breaking into a sweat. But she has too much going on to be interested in commitment, and God knows I’m a bad boyfriend candidate.
Once the wedding’s over, we’ll be normal stepsiblings who don’t have sex with each other, and Thanksgiving won’t be awkward at all.
Right?
The Three Night Stand is the third book in the Wildwood Society series, and can be read as a total standalone. It's for fans of high heat romantic comedies, and features a red-hot one night stand, family shenanigans, enough pining for a forest, found family, a quirky small town, and tons of spice. Of course, there's an HEA.

My Thoughts
The Three Night Stand by Roxie Noir is a fantastic addition to the Wildwood Society series that delivers the perfect blend of high-heat romance, humor, and poignantly complex characters. The story follows Javier and Madeline, who share an unforgettable one-night stand that leaves a lasting impression on them both.
Two years later, they are reunited under the most awkward of circumstances: their parents have announced their upcoming wedding, making them stepsiblings-to-be. What follows is a delicious "idiots-to-lovers" romp where, despite their best efforts to stay away and avoid the drama of their families merging, they simply cannot stop gravitating toward each other.
Javier is a beautifully messy and complicated protagonist, and I deeply appreciated how his journey through addiction recovery was handled with care and believability, making him incredibly easy to root for. Opposite him, Madeline is a refreshing, gorgeous "nerd girl"—funny, fiery, and a total badass in a male-dominated industry.
Their chemistry is nothing short of electric, and watching them squirm around their undeniable attraction while trying to maintain some semblance of boundaries is an absolute joy to read. Beyond the romance, the book excels at showcasing the healthy, strong friendships within the Wildwood community, offering a refreshing, anti-toxic take on masculinity where support, vulnerability, and genuine care are the norm.
The narration by Alexis Paige and Gregory Salinas is exceptional, truly bringing this duo to life and enhancing the banter that Roxie Noir fans know and love. While the story is filled with comedic relief, family shenanigans, and enough spice to make it perhaps the author’s steamiest book yet, it remains anchored by genuine emotional depth. The foundation of friendship they build while trying to deny their feelings is just as compelling as the physical heat.
Though this book features appearances from characters across the Loveless/Wildwood universe, providing that familiar, cozy "found family" homecoming feeling, it stands perfectly well on its own. If you enjoy clever banter, well-developed characters, and a romance that manages to be both profoundly heartfelt and incredibly hot, this is a must-read.
Watching Javier and Madeline finally stop ignoring their feelings to realize that what they have is far more than superficial is a deeply satisfying experience from start to finish.
