Narrated by the talented duo of Aiden Snow and Callie Dalton, S.L. Scott's Love and Warner is a charming, witty, and highly addictive romance that will keep you hooked from the very first chapter. They say all is fair in love and war, but clearly, Delaney Bayetti never expected to go to war with ruthless billionaire Warner Landers, who had initially met her pleas to save her family's restaurant with a shameless flirt and a smug smirk.

Book Description

All’s fair in love and Warner.

They say all is fair in love and war. Clearly, they haven’t met Warner Landers.

The ruthless billionaire had me begging him to spare my family’s restaurant from a buyout. In response, he shamelessly flirted and walked away wearing a smug smirk.

Karma strikes, literally, when he crosses the street.

Unconscious, he’s rushed to the hospital, and for some unknown reason, I’m swept in right after him as if I know this man—or worse, that I’m married to him.

Am I in too much shock to deny the allegation? Yes.
Am I still using his short-term amnesia to my advantage? Absolutely.

Playing the doting wife to a grumpy CEO won’t be easy, but I’m determined to save my family’s livelihood. I just didn’t expect him to be a changed man after the accident. Far graver (for me), the iciness between us begins to thaw, and our fake marriage starts to feel real, making it easy to forget my mission.

When his memory begins to return, so does the truth. We’re at war, and falling for the enemy wasn’t part of the plan.

My Thoughts

Narrated by the talented duo of Aiden Snow and Callie Dalton, S.L. Scott's Love and Warner is a charming, witty, and highly addictive romance that will keep you hooked from the very first chapter. They say all is fair in love and war, but clearly, Delaney Bayetti never expected to go to war with ruthless billionaire Warner Landers, who had initially met her pleas to save her family's restaurant with a shameless flirt and a smug smirk.

Karma strikes literally when Warner is hit by a car, leaving him unconscious and suffering from short-term amnesia. Swept into the hospital and mistaken for his wife, Delaney makes a snap, shocking decision: she uses his amnesia to her advantage, playing the role of his doting spouse to secure the future of her family's livelihood before his memory returns. This setup is brilliant, fueling a spectacular enemies-to-lovers, fake-relationship premise with genuine laugh-out-loud moments and perfect banter.

What begins as a calculated heist quickly becomes something more complex. Delaney is determined to save the restaurant, but the accident leaves Warner a changed man. As she cares for the grumpy CEO, the iciness between them begins to thaw, and their fake marriage starts to feel undeniably real, making it easy to forget her initial mission. Though they couldn't be more different, Delaney and Warner’s chemistry is magnetic and undeniable; they simply work together in the most compelling way. Their slow-burn relationship develops beautifully over time as the heat and the lies pile up.

Beautifully narrated by Aisen Snow and Callie Dalton, who bring emotions, realness and so much more elevating this book to next level goodness.

Told in dual first-person POV, the book masterfully builds the suspense, constantly asking whether the lies will ruin them before they even get started. Falling for the enemy was definitely not part of Delaney’s plan, but when Warner's memory begins to return, so does the truth, setting the stage for a compelling climax. Love and Warner hits it out of the park, keeping you invested in these characters until the very last page. Fans of mistaken identity and charming rivals-to-lovers stories will find this heart-stealing romance a highly recommended read.
