I absolutely adored Magnolia and Luke’s story in Single Wish by Amy Knupp, and found it to be the perfect way to wrap up the Single Dads series. This spicy, small town, enemies-to-lovers, second-chance, holiday contemporary romance is a delightful read, made even better by the captivating narration from Erin Mallon & Ryan West.

Book Description

Sometimes all it takes to spark a second chance is one single wish. Especially in this small town…

Magnolia

I’m not the spoiled rich girl I used to be. And if my new business succeeds, I’ll finally be able to prove it.

Too bad my first job is planning a wedding…in my sworn enemy’s barn.

There was a time when I cared about Luke Durham with my whole heart. But that died when he assumed the worst of me.

Now, we’re stuck working together. Failure? Not an option.

But everything would be so much easier if I could forget how good it felt to be loved by Luke instead of hated...

Luke

Running my farm and being a single dad doesn’t leave me much time for grudges.

But for Magnolia James, I might make an exception.

I lost so much because of her. Even my heart. Forgiveness? Not possible.

So, I’ll work with her. But I will keep my mind—and my hands—off her.

Or so I keep telling myself…

My Thoughts

I absolutely adored Magnolia and Luke’s story in Single Wish by Amy Knupp, and found it to be the perfect way to wrap up the Single Dads series. This spicy, small town, enemies-to-lovers, second-chance, holiday contemporary romance is a delightful read, made even better by the captivating narration from Erin Mallon & Ryan West.

Sometimes all it takes to spark a second chance is one single wish, especially in the charming small town of Dragonfly Lake. Magnolia is determined to prove she's not the spoiled rich girl she used to be, banking on the success of her new business. However, her first job requires her to plan a wedding in her sworn enemy's barn. There was a time she cared about Luke Durham with her whole heart, but that died when he assumed the worst of her. Now they're stuck working together, and failure is not an option. Yet, everything would be so much easier if she could just forget how good it felt to be loved by Luke instead of hated.

Luke insists that running his farm and being a single dad doesn’t leave him much time for grudges, but for Magnolia James, he might just make an exception. He lost so much because of her, even his heart, and he feels forgiveness isn't possible. He resolves to work with her while keeping his mind—and his hands—off her, or so he keeps telling himself.

This book is a fantastic romantic escapism, complete with the chaotic charm of a small town and even a llama with an unhealthy obsession for sugar cookies and Magnolia! The narration was so good and brought real depth to this story. Though it is Book 5 in the Single Dads of Dragonfly Lake series, Single Wish can easily be read as a standalone.
