Emperor of Havoc by Jagger Cole, the final book in the series, is an absolutely gripping and intense dark mafia romance featuring an arranged marriage that instantly ignites a war between two perfectly matched opponents. Narrated brilliantly by Kyo Sija and Will Thorne, the audiobook successfully brings all the raw emotions, from anger to possessive desire, to life.

Book Description

He’s a dark storm wrapped in tattoos and muscle.
A mafia prince with a killer’s smile and a predator’s gaze.
Takeshi Mori doesn’t ask for anything. He takes it.
Including me.
Our marriage is a weapon forged in blood, meant to stop a war.
But there’s nothing peaceful about my new husband.
He’s ruthless chaos incarnate—a Machiavellian psychopath with a thirst for violence.
He craves control, but I was born to defy.
His darkness terrifies me even as it calls to mine.
His touch consumes me even as it burns me alive.
We aren’t a happy ever after. We’re a collision-course disaster.
And “till death do us part” isn’t a vow.
It’s a declaration of war.

Emperor of Havoc is a standalone dark mafia romance with a smart, untamable heroine, and an ultra possessive psycho hero with "look at her and I'll unalive you" energy. Readers are STRONGLY advised to read the TW inside. No cliffhanger; HEA included.

About Jagger Cole

A reader first and foremost, Jagger Cole cut his romance writing teeth penning various fan-fiction stories years ago. After deciding to hang up his writing boots, Jagger worked in advertising pretending to be Don Draper. It worked enough to convince a woman way out of his league to marry him, though, which is a total win.

Now, Dad to two little princesses and King to a Queen, Jagger is thrilled to be back at the keyboard.

When not writing or reading romance books, he can be found woodworking, enjoying good whiskey, and grilling outside—rain or shine.

My Thoughts

Emperor of Havoc by Jagger Cole, the final book in the series, is an absolutely gripping and intense dark mafia romance featuring an arranged marriage that instantly ignites a war between two perfectly matched opponents. Narrated brilliantly by Kyo Sija and Will Thorne, the audiobook successfully brings all the raw emotions, from anger to possessive desire, to life.

The story centers on Takeshi Mori, a Machiavellian psycho and ruthless mafia prince with a predator's gaze and a thirst for violence, who can only be described as deranged and determined. He is set to marry Katarina, a very bright, strong, and brave heroine who is equally determined to keep her family business closed off. Their marriage is a strategic weapon forged in blood, meant to stop a war, but there is nothing peaceful about their union.

Takeshi is ruthless chaos incarnate, and while his darkness terrifies Katarina, it simultaneously calls to the defiance within her. She would like to trust his motives but isn't sure how, leading to incredible tension and witty banter—some of her retorts are hilarious—between the two. Takeshi takes what he wants, including her, with an ultra-possessive "look at her and I'll unalive you" energy. The high stakes and entangled family histories create thrilling, action-packed sequences that give the story strong romantic suspense and thriller elements.

Despite the fact that their relationship is a collision-course disaster, their connection is undeniable. Takeshi and Katarina have truly met their match in each other. Their "till death do us part" vow is less of a declaration of peace and more a declaration of war, yet they are so perfectly obsessed with one another. This book is an amazing read that features a smart, untamable heroine and an unhinged, dark hero, ultimately delivering a satisfying happily-ever-after without a cliffhanger.
