From the very first page, I was completely immersed in the raw, emotional, and undeniably passionate journey of love, loss, and healing. This book grabbed me by the heart and didn’t let go until the very last page.
The story follows Emery and Maddox, two people who are undeniably drawn to one another despite the heavy baggage they each carry. Their chemistry is off the charts, and the slow-burn romance had me turning pages late into the night. What I loved most about this book is how real and flawed the characters are — they aren’t perfect, but their love feels authentic, messy, and incredibly powerful.
Persephone Autumn has a gift for writing angst and heartbreak in a way that makes you feel every ounce of pain and every sliver of hope. I found myself tearing up at certain moments, laughing at others and sitting on the edge of my seat. The emotional roller coaster was full of highs and lows.
