Let me start by saying this book is explicit. If you are easily offended or are opposed to explicit sex scenes, scenes, then I would rethink my purchase of this book.

Book Description

Ever curious, Elizabeth, Viscountess Rocksley, has turned her curiosity to erotic pleasure. Three years a widow, she boldly employs the madame of a brothel for guidance but never had she expected her education to be conducted by a coldly handsome peer of the realm.

To the Earl of Malvern, the erotic tutelage of a skittish widow is little more than sport, however, the woman he teaches is far from the mouse he expects. With her sly humor and insistent joy, Elizabeth obliterates all his expectations and he, unwillingly fascinated, can’t prevent his fall.

Each more intrigued than they are willing to admit, Elizabeth and Malvern embark upon a tutelage that will challenge them, change them, come to mean everything to them...until a heartbreaking betrayal threatens to tear them apart forever.

My Thoughts

This was my first book by Cassandra Dean and I will admit I enjoyed it.

This was a spicy and erotic story about a widow wanting to push boundaries dan to explore pleasure. She knows there is more to it than what she experienced with her husband or her one-time lover. She seeks help from a local brothel.

In walks the Earl of Malvern. A rather cold teacher who is seemly undetached due to life and his former experiences. As he begins teaching Elizabeth he begins to find that he can not stay detached and he too wants more.

These lessons soon take a turn and they are both burning for each other.

Cassandra did a great job of adding lots of spice to this story. Though it was a rather quick read it was one full of heat. Cassandra did a great job of giving explicit details without being too over the top or raunchy. Overall a very enjoyable hot read.

I would recommend it to anyone who likes erotic reading.
